Urban Studio Brooklyn Calls for Students for Design/Build Project ‘Fishmobile’ — Fundraiser At Habana Outpost (Wed June 18)
June 16th, 2008 by Ethan
From June 19 to June 28, USBK participants will receive instruction from bicycle and alternative transport groups, waterfront orgs, youth building groups, and NYC fishing and boating folks to get their creative juices flowing.
Then, participants will scour the city for materials — wrecked rowboats, snagged sails, flat tires and the like. Finally, working closely with a team of rehab and design professionals, USBK participants will take their ideas from drawing board to reality, and Fishmobile will be born.
Fundraiser to benefit USBK 2008:
Habana Outpost
