Prospect Park Trees Take Root Online

Camperdown Elm - Prospect Park

The Camperdown Elm, moved from Scotland to Prospect Park in 1872

Prospect Park Alliance takes the success of their great interactive park map and applies it to the many wonderful, weird, and rare trees in the park — over 30,000 trees from over 150 species.

The new Trees of Prospect Park map features 14 of New York’s “oldest and most magnificent specimens.”

Check out the map to learn more about these amazing trees.

And learn how you can Plant a Tree to commemorate a friend, loved one, event, because you love trees, or for no reason at all.

August 15 is the deadline to make a donation in time for fall planting.
