The Greening The Ridge celebration and green event is coming up THIS WEEKEND!
Sponsored and developed by Sunset-Ridge Waterfront Alliance — of Bay Ridge ferry fame — Greening The Ridge is going to be one of the greenest, greatest events of the summer, and a great place to take children to learn about green while enjoying the outdoors!

- Follow instructions for driving directions from your location to 69th Street Veteran’s Memorial Pier!
Subway Directions to 69th Street Veteran’s Memorial Pier
- Take the R to Bay Ridge Avenue
- You can also take the N (express) to 59th Street, change to the R, and take the R one stop to Bay Ridge Avenue
- Make sure when you transfer to the R that you get on the R heading towards Bay Ridge-95 Street/4 Avenue and not towards Manhattan or Queens
- When you exit the subway, walk west towards the NY harbor waterfront
- If you are unsure, ask the subway attendant in the booth
